it’s nicer to see Windows being emulated in Ubuntu VM than ubuntu on windows VM.

@Bert: I knew about that tool already. I use VMWare since I also need to test other things on a real windows environment. IE6 has never crashed on me on Windows, though.

What I do to test site’s on IE6 and IE7: I just run them on wine using the great ies4linux tool from this site: http://www.tatanka.com.br

It’s quite stable and the performance isn’t bad, IE6 doesn’t even crash as much as it does on windows.
