What is up with Tom Cruise?

I don’t think he was the coolest guy on earth, but at least he used to project a normal behaviour. When you heard Tom Cruise, all you could think about was this guy that turned women crazy, and made lots of money with not particularly amazing movies.

Well, that’s all in the past now. When you think about Tom Cruise, you’ll think about Scientology. That weird-ass so-called religion that believes humans have been invaded by alien souls that were ostracized from some Vulcano, or something like that. When you think about Tom Cruise now, you’ll see his “performances” on major US talk shows (his constant jumpings on Oprah’s couch screaming “I’m in love”, his argument with a known journalist about how he knows the history of psicology, thus everyone who believes in it is just wrong.)

I have seriously came to the conclusion that most of people in show business tend to loose their minds at some point. Because, let’s face it, it is not Cruise along who has shown signs of serious lack of logic. Picture every celebrity that you know, browse around the internet, and find all those juicy, disappointing details about their lives.

Now I ask myself, is potential insanity a requirement for making it in the Hollywood business?
